Corona Care is a platform developed to assist healthcare providers in their research efforts to monitor COVID-19 symptoms in potentially infected patients. Co-created by distinguished health systems such as Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, this platform is tailored for direct usage by patients who have undergone evaluation at a medical clinic or emergency room and require instructions upon returning home.
The platform incorporates a mobile application that tracks individuals' transitions between low and high-risk groups, offers guidance, and suggests precautions for managing symptoms. Healthcare providers can access a dedicated portal to categorize patient cases according to severity, minimizing the risk of community transmission by equipping all patients with necessary knowledge and resources to address low-risk symptoms from home. Moreover, the system tracks symptom progression in higher-risk patients.
While encouraging patients to remain at home if they are not classified as high risk, Corona Care refrains from dispensing medical advice. Data privacy is strictly maintained, with no information utilized for commercial purposes and all data encrypted. Noteworthy features of the platform include:

<li>Scheduled delivery of initial and follow-up surveys to patients via the mobile app.</li>
<li>Color-coded presentation of patient survey results based on case severity in the provider portal (Command Center).</li>
<li>Customizable surveys targeting specific patient groups at defined intervals through push notifications, emails, or text messages.</li>
<li>Provision of instructions to patients within the app interface.</li>
<li>Bidirectional instant messaging and video calls between healthcare providers and patients.</li>
<li>An AI-driven chatbot for enhanced patient support and effective query responses.</li>
